VOLUNTEER: 1 experienced canoer
Paddle around Ewing Island with a naturalist as you check out ecological features, learn about the history of the island, and search for wildlife like bald eagles, painted turtles, beaver and more as the sun sets and moon rises. A canoeing safety and skills session will prelude the trip. Previous canoeing experience recommended. Canoes are 2-person boats. Paddling trip is roughly 2.5 river miles.
