Who We Are
The Wood County Park District is a natural resources conservation agency with twenty parks and nature preserves around Wood County, Ohio. Not all of the parks within Wood County are WC Parks properties.
What We Do
Monitoring is an important activity done on the volunteers time schedule.
Help us gather data about flora and fauna so we can analyze the health of our habitats and improve our ecosystems.
Monitoring positions are available for: Frogs & Toads, Butterflies, Native Plants and more!
An informational meeting precedes volunteer position registration and a wrap-up potluck night concludes the season.
